Anyone that ordered state cup gear please read this:
OES said that the hoodies and jackets are on their way to them but they are not sure of the eta so the plan now is that they will take them to Coffs and people will pick them up there. All other gear has arrived and it is either at my place or coaches have it. Talk to your coach or give me a call to arrange pickup.

Online Coaching Accreditation Course
Australian Oztag is proud to announce the introduction of an Online Coaching Accreditation System which provides Oztag coaches with the ability to learn the basics of the game of Oztag and the key elements that could assist them with improving their coaching skills.
The courses can be found on the new and improved Australian Oztag website which not only contains Accreditation for Coaches and Referees but also some video resources that will assist coaches with drills and skills to improve and assist their training sessions.
Below is a link to the Australian Oztag website - if searching for the
Accreditation Courses, click the Academy tab and follow the prompts.

This is an exciting time for Oztag and as the Game continues to grow we felt it important to provide our coaches, who volunteer their time and efforts to ensure players are prepared as best they can for their local competitions or representative tournaments, with the resources and support for them to feel comfortable in what they are doing. It is also hoped that the accreditation courses will encourage more coaches to be a part of the Oztag family and
provide them with the confidence to be the best coach they can be.
The Coaching Accreditation Courses cover some of the Basic Rules of the Game, the importance of Respecting Match Officials, your role as a Coach, the different types of coaching styles and how to plan and prepare for your training sessions. Once you have read the content you can take the online exam and complete the necessary questions before moving onto the Level Two Course.
The Coaching Accreditation System will mean that as of the NSW State Cup in 2023, any person looking to coach at any of the representative tournaments conducted by Australian Oztag will need a minimum of a Level 2 Coaching Accreditation Certificate. Assistant Coaches will be required to have at least completed the Level 1 Coaching Accreditation Course.
All coaches, once they have completed the Level 1 Coaching Course will be given a Coaching Registration Number which will then need to be submitted on the Team Registration Form prior to the Tournament.
This will provide all the current and past coaches with a 12 month "grace" period before the Accreditation System is to be introduced.
Cheers,
Michael Buettner
